Position Description

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking a passionate candidate responsible for the development and expansion of a variety of after-school and auxiliary programming. The Auxiliary Program Manager will develop and coordinate the expansion of summer programs and after school offerings, including camps, clubs, and community partnerships. This individual will collaborate closely with leadership across  Academic, Athletic, Arts, and Operations teams to ensure seamless program delivery. Additionally, the Auxiliary Program Manager will spearhead efforts to cultivate partnerships with external organizations, enhancing program offerings and ensuring our students and families are well-served.

Summer Programs Development & Management

  • Work closely with principals, senior leadership, and Senior Program Director to develop summer programs that meet the needs of all K-12 students.
  • In conjunction with school administration, coordinate staffing, scheduling, and logistics for all summer and auxiliary offerings, ensuring alignment with the school's educational goals.
  • Partner with Athletics and Arts to coordinate camps, facility rentals, and summer arts programming.
  • Build external partnerships to enhance programming opportunities, including collaborations with local organizations and businesses.
  • Develop sustainable summer offerings aligned with our school mission with future expansion to the North Campus (Opens 2026). 

Academic Year Clubs and Organizations Management

  • Work with school-level representatives to oversee the administrative and operational aspects of student clubs and organizations (non-athletic).
  • Ensure all academic-year clubs, from academic societies to creative arts groups, are aligned with the school’s mission and goals.
  • Facilitate regular communication between club leaders and school administration to streamline planning, budgeting, and support.
  • Coordinate and monitor logistics for student organizations, including room usage, event planning, and transportation when necessary.

Operations Coordination

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth program operations, including registration, enrollment, security, IT, food services, and the events and facilities team. 
  • Partner with the facilities and operations team to ensure proper maintenance and readiness of all used spaces.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to advertise after-school and summer programs and schedules, including generation of marketing plans and materials.

Partnership & Budget Management

  • Oversee the budgeting process for summer and auxiliary programs, ensuring financial sustainability while maximizing student engagement.
  • Identify and secure partnerships to bring additional value to summer and extracurricular offerings.
  • Work closely with the CFO to ensure compliance of DPI requirements for summer school funding

Other Responsibilities

  • Attend key school events and serve as a visible leader in the Aug Prep community.
  • Ensure all programs comply with city and state regulatory standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, project management, and organizational development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in education, program management, or related field preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience in program management or educational leadership.
  • A deep belief in our mission to provide an exceptional, safe, and holistic K4-12 Christian education, developing our students to be tomorrow’s leaders.
  • Alignment with Aug Prep’s Statement of Faith and North Star, with active participation in a local church.

Work Hours & Conditions:
Work hours will vary based on season and program needs. While the majority of work will occur during regular business hours, some evenings and weekends will be required with a heavier workload during summer months.
