In This Role, You Will :
The Multimedia Design Specialist plays a key role in advancing Aug Prep’s mission through creative, visually compelling, and brand-aligned content. This role is responsible for producing high-quality visual and digital content, including graphic design, social media, and video, that communicates clearly and consistently to both internal and external audiences.
This position supports storytelling, strengthens brand identity across both North and South campuses, and contributes to engagement and enrollment efforts through cohesive, high-impact content. Key responsibilities include:
- Social Media & Digital Content Creation: Create and adapt visual content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign goals. Partner with the marketing team to support content calendars, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives. Optimize content for digital engagement across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and web.
- Video Content Creation: Support the creation and editing of short-form video content (e.g., reels, event highlights, student stories) for social media and digital platforms. Capture and/or edit video footage using tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar platforms. Contribute to visual storytelling that highlights student experiences, campus life, and key initiatives.
- Publication and layout design: Design and layout multi-page publications such as viewbooks, annual reports, program books, and other long-form marketing materials. Ensure strong visual storytelling, clear hierarchy, and alignment with brand standards across all pages.
- Print and production design: Prepare print-ready files for a variety of large- and small-scale projects, including gala programs, banners, yard signs, and marketing collateral. Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality production outcomes.
- Brand management: Maintain and consistently apply Aug Prep’s brand standards across all materials. Support the evolution of brand guidelines and ensure visual consistency across both North and South campuses.
- Campaign and event design support: Partner with internal teams to create cohesive visual assets for campaigns, school events, and key initiatives, ensuring alignment across platforms and touchpoints.
- Template and asset development: Create and maintain templates (Canva or Adobe) for internal use to empower teams while preserving brand integrity.
- Project and time management: Prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving organizational needs in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For
- A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 1–3 years of design experience.
- Active participation in a Christian church.
- Strong foundational design skills, including typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in graphic design and visual content creation using platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Exposure to multi-page layout design (e.g., viewbooks, magazines, reports)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while producing high-quality work under deadlines.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on designs in a collaborative environment.
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and translating ideas into compelling visual concepts that align with brand standards.
